Who I Am: I was born and raised in Perth, WA in a small town called Gidgegannup. My parents are both English and so we moved to Manchester, UK when I was 8years old. After backpacking around Australia when I was 18 I decided to permanently move back to the land of Oz and Melbourne is now where I am settled and based. I have always been fit and athletic. In school I was a mean netball player because of my height, I dabbled in athletics (hurdles, high jump, and 800m runs) and swimming. At the age of 14 I joined the local leisure centre gym(pretending I was 16) and would be the only female in the weights area – not knowing anything about training at that age I would hit the pec deck and leg press for hours on end! I was also a keen cross country runner which followed into long distance running, triathlons and then endurance cycling right up until my early 20’s, and that’s when I discovered the wonderful world of bodybuilding. |

What I believe "Devote yourself to an idea, to a vision, go away put your head down and make it happen, struggle on it, overcome your fears, smile and do not forget that if it is your dream you will make it real, if it is not - you will find an excuse" What drives me I am a high achiever. I love setting goals, aiming high and hitting the target! I love the competitive world of figure bodybuilding because you are never the best, there is and always will be someone better than you and that keeps you pushing forward. |

What I dream of If you had one year to live, what would you do? Climb Mt Everest, start your own business, complete an Ironman, swim with sharks, be Miss Universe, do a skydive, well, why not now? When I was 18years old I saved $1000, packed a rucksack, kissed my mum goodbye and headed backpacking. Whilst all my friends were off to University to get ‘real jobs’, I was managing a bar in a gold mine, hitchhiking around the great sandy dessert, and climbing big orange rocks that shouldn’t be climbed. I knew that was the start of who I am today, with fire in my heart and hunger for success and achievement in my belly. |

Why not start as you mean to go on? My ultimate dream is to reach my full potential – be the best I can be! Keep learning new things, keep growing and progressing as a person, as an athlete and as professional. I was always told off at school for daydreaming. And I still do, without daydreams you will not realize what you are capable of. If you never dream of anything bigger than yourself, you will never be anything bigger than you are. I put every success in my life down to drive and a positive mind. |

That does not mean that every failure is down to being lazy and negative, it simply means that you can get further with the right outlook and are more likely to achieve what you want in life with a strong focus and a smile on your face. My life sometimes feels like a dream, I am doing what I love and I have to pinch myself. I am currently working hard in my offseason and onseason and seeing where the wind takes me for the next competitive season.
