Who am I?
I am a Single Mum, a Personal Trainer and someone passionate about Fitness and helping others. Fitness and Training literally saved my life and made me the person I am today. Here is my story

What are my Achievements?
Simple- My Children.

I have 2 beautiful children Hudson 6 and Chailee 4, they are what drive me to succeed and give me the inner strength and balance in my crazy life.

My story....
I am not a Competitor, an Athlete or a Model… I am just a ordinary Woman who has lived a life that has been full of trials that haven’t stopped me, only made me stronger.

Married for 8 years, a blow to my Self-Esteem and  lifestyle came about suddenly in 2007 when my husband was diagnosed Bi-Polar and Walked out on me and the kids with no warning signs.

Having been in a happy and secure relationship and lifestyle from the age of 18, I was literally knocked off my feet when left divorced, almost bankrupt, abused,  cheated on and in a deep state of depression. …. Who was I apart from a Mother and Wife? I lived a very comfortable life as a lady of leisure and a housewife who was constantly entertaining and homemaking. Take that away from me and I was lost!! So forced to find out who I was on my own and pick myself back up for the sake of my children- I started hitting the gym!!

The Gym crèche was my Saving Grace. I booked the kids in 6 days a week for an hour and a half and with my iPod cranking I started my fitness journey. At first it was the only way I could have time to myself as my family lived overseas and I couldn’t afford babysitters. It was also a way to help me feel better about myself and boost my selfesteem.

I had gained 26kg each pregnancy (My kids are only 15 months apart) which was a massive change to my pre-pregnancy figure of 5ft 10 and 60kg. I had always been super thin and lanky, teased at school and thought to have an eating disorder!!

So I started training in the weights room with all the Guys as Cardio was not my idea of stress relief as I have a very short attention span. I had always admired the girls on the cover of Oxygen magazine and aspired to one day be fit and toned.

After my pregnancy both which ended in C-Sections, the doctor told me I would never have abs when I asked if possible. Tell me I can’t have something and it makes me want it more.

Through observation of  the guys in the gym and studying magazines I started to teach my self how to weight train and became addicted! It was a release for me and the only time I had away from the stress of my divorce and the time to clear my head.

6 months went by and I had totally transformed my body and didn’t even realize until others started asking me my advice in the gym….

I was now at the point where I had debts to pay off and 2 children to support on my own with no financial help from my ex. So I scraped together enough money and enrolled in my Cert III & IV in fitness, knowing Personal training was a way to support my family and have the flexibility to be a single mum and be passionate about helping others through fitness as my life had changed inside and out from training.

So a few years later that bring me here. I am a full time personal trainer on the Gold Coast and am able to be a success because I have the passion and understanding to help others through exercise.

It is a selfish job as not only do I get paid but I get so much out of helping others, especially mothers feel like they can achieve the impossible and empower them.

I am currently training to compete in my first Figure Competition (IFBB) and am focusing on expanding my PT business to own my studio/gym to help more women change their lives!

I have always trained just for myself and buzz off the feeling of lifting as heavy as the boys ;p I love Strength training, so the challenge of daily cardio and dieting (I am a Chocoholic) Is more of a challenge for me than I ever imagined.

But I aspire to be a success and the best at everything I do, so my kids can one day look back and say “ My mum is my hero!’
