Bodybuilding and weightlifting has been a big part of my family for several generations.

My uncle (Duncan McDonald) competed in and placed first overall in the Australian Natural Bodybuilding titles several years back, and my grandfather competed in the commonwealth games for weightlifting.

At 18 years old, I was 70kgs and had never touched a weight in my life.

My background has predominantly consisted of martial arts, track and field and football.

My older brother’s (James Nunn) constant nagging and persuasion is what got me into the gym in the first place. Over the years, weight lifting became second nature to me and has drastically improved my health and well being and quality of life as a whole.

Now at 22, I’m weighing around 90kgs and have never felt better.

The hardest obstacle to overcome and I speak for a lot of bodybuilders out there, is dieting. Diet is a 24/7 job and needs to be taken seriously to ensure maximum results.

If I didn’t have the support of my close friends and training partners (Pedro Relvas and Perry Vedelago), I would not have achieved the things I have today. With a couple of competitions under my belt, I’m always striving to reach new heights with my training, figure and competitions.

Firstly, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my brother, James, for dragging me out of the house and onto the gym floor. If it weren’t for him, I would never have become a PT (a job which I enjoy immensely).

Secondly, Id like to thank Pedro Relvas, an International Protein sponsored athlete, coach/mentor/close friend/training partner. Pedro pushed me to limits I never thought possible which proved useful in my competitions in 2010.
