Mission Statement The desired public image of our company is to give athletes a venue in which they can compete, and be treated with the utmost professionalism. The key strategic influence is to promote health and fitness in a rapidly growing industry. Our target market is a health and fitness conscious individual who wants to embark on or develop a professional career within the health and fitness industry. Ultimately the WBFF seeks to raise a standard in bodybuilding, fitness, and modeling, and give athletes an unlimited opportunity. F.A.Q. FAQ’S For World Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation: 1) Why should I consider competing with the WBFF? How is it different from any other organization out there? It was founded by an athlete, so we understand the needs as well as the ups and downs of all our competitors. We will utilize our relationships with all our partners to create sponsorship and marketing opportunities for the competitors and all of its members, in an industry that is constantly growing. Our events are second to none and they are the most professionally runned shows in the industry. Any individuals at any level are invited to compete in our events. From amateur to Pro. 1. Men’s Bodybuilding The men’s bodybuilding will consist of 4 weight classes. The men’s open bodybuilding starting with light weight <156, middle weight <176, light heavy <198, and heavy weight >198. 2. Female Figure There will be a short, medium, and tall category for the female figure competition. As well as figure over 35. 3. Male/Female Fitness Model Search/ Male Muscle Model 4. 4) If I compete with the WBFF will I be able to compete with any other organization after that? Amateur Athletes-Yes, the WBFF will allow its members to compete in any organization they choose as an amateur athlete. As an amateur athlete you cannot be suspended from competing with multiple organizations. WBFF Pro Athletes- WBFF Pro athletes are exclusive to the WBFF. We hold our Pro Status with high regard and hope that our Athletes wil l be proud to hold a Pro title with the WBFF 5) If I win an amateur category , will I obtain “Pro Status”? An athlete, who competes in our show and wins the overall trophy, will obtain pro status, and be awarded their WBFF Pro Card. 6) Will there be a fitness category? Unfortunatly we do not have a fitness category at this time, however it is something we have definitly considered for the future. 7) I am a figure competitor; if I win my height class will I obtain “Pro Status”? Competitors must win the overall Figure trophy in order to be awarded Pro status with the WBFF 8) Are we allowed to use props and costumes? Yes, we encourage our athletes to be creative in order to add entertainment value to their performance. However the specific types of props and costumes must be approved by the WBFF prior to any show. 9) What will your venues be like? Being a professional organization we believe it is essential to provide a professional venue where our athletes can perform and be preseted on a stage that compliments their hard work and dedication to the sport. Our events are held in the most upscale venues . The venues and theatres are where many notable shows are held such as the Canadian Juno awards, and Canadian Idol. 10) How many winners will there be in the Men’s Open Bodybuilding? There will be one winner from Overall Bodybuilding. The winner will obtain “Pro Status.” 11) I would like to compete in both Figure and Model search, will I have enough time to do both? Yes you will have time to compete in both Figure and Model Search either Fitness Model or Bikini Model. |
