I am a singer, dancer, actor and choreographer and have been performing professionally in Australia and overseas since I was 12.

I can now also call myself a Figure Athlete!

My professional credits span musicals, tv, film and recordings - and they include The Rocky Horror Show, Jerry’s Girls, Hot Shoe Shuffle, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Oscar’s Turn to Sing, Dusty, A Chorus Line, Miracle City, The Boy From Oz, What the World Needs Now, Pippin and Hello Again, to film – Starstruck, Moulin Rouge, to performing live with and recording for artists such as Marcia Hines, Paulini, Paul Mac, Chrissie Amphlett, The Eurogliders, Olivia Newton John, Todd McKenney and Caroline O’Connor, as well as numerous television appearances, radio jingles and voice overs.

I currently tour with Deni Hines and Christine Anu and teach singing and dancing in both Sydney and Brisbane.

Apart from my love of performing I have always been interested in health and fitness and over the last few years it’s become quite an obsession – this has also taken me to completing my Cert III and Cert IV in Personal Training.

My passion for learning as much as I can about training and nutrition have also lead me on a fantastic journey into figure competition. This time last year I didn’t even know what a figure competition was, but having been introduced to the form through the encouragement of people at my gym, I decided to take on the challenge and train with the aim of competing  - something where I could combine my hobby, physical goals and lust for life as well as my love of being onstage and performing (although if you’d told me a couple of years ago that I’d be up onstage in a bikini I would have thought you were crazy!)

I started training in December 2010 and competed in my first competitions in May 2011.

I was lucky enough to win Best Female Posing Routine at the ANB South Coast Championships, had a great experience and was inspired to keep training, improving my physique and keep working towards the next competition (and the next one and the next one…)

I have had a wonderful trainer in ANB Champion and WNSO Pro Tiger G, who has been incredibly generous with her time and expertise and has given me a glimpse of where I can be with continued work and dedication.

I am currently in the gym most days of the week really working on building muscle and striving to be as fit and healthy as I can possibly be – with clean eating, lots of exercise (both in and out of the gym) and lots of excitement and positivity for what the future may hold.

I have an amazing family with the most supportive and loving husband and 8 year old daughter anyone could wish for. I am truly blessed and always appreciative! They make everything I do possible and worthwhile and as well as both being huge talents in their own right are always behind me in whatever I take on.

As a family we plan to travel and pursue as many opportunities overseas as we can in music and performing and I am keen to really take competing and striving to be at my best physically as far as I can, and hope to also take that to the world stage – A dream that will keep me working my hardest in all aspects of my life.

Even though my competition journey has been a short one so far, I have met some fantastic people, had great experiences and will continue on being the best that I can be.

I can’t recommend this lifestyle enough – I truly believe that If everyone could experience the natural high that you get from being fit and the satisfaction you get from achieving your goals and constantly having new ones to strive for, the world would be a much happier place!
