About Me:I have worked in, lived and breathed the fitness industry since 1999. I have experience in all aspects from group fitness instruction and personal training to club general management and regional business and operations management. I have also worked and appeared in several live fitness demonstrations and shows as well as television commercials and informercials and fitness dvds, not to mention my appearance either as the subject or as the writer of numerous articles in many of australias leading fitness magazines. I started working in the fitness industry when I was 18 in 2000 and competed in my show 2 years later in 2002. Over the years I've competed in the fitness category, figure category and sport aerobics claiming 6 x first places, 2 x 2nd places and 1 x 3rd out of 9 shows. My most memorable win was the NABBA 2007 Miss Fitness Australia title, which I won just 6 months after giving birth to my first child. |

I am the coach of the Female fitness team 'Team BellaBuff' which includes national and world class athletes that I have trained from novice gym lovers to australian representatives and international place winners. I am currently in training for competition after the birth of my second bub who has just turned 6months. As well as being a full time mum, I am a Personal Trainer/ Group Fitness & Aerobics Instructor and founder of the BellaBuff brand which includes a gym wear range and sport supplement line available exclusively at Australian Sports Nutrition who are my major sponsor. TRAINING TIPS FOR EVERYONEHere are a few tips that are suitable for all of you!
* TRAIN FOR YOUR BODYTYPE - find what works for you! * A combination of resistance + cardio training works best! * You grow and repair on your non-training days, so get lots of rest! * Consistency is the key! Choose a routine that works for you and stick to it! * Be sure to change your exercise routine every 8 weeks, so that your body does not become accustomed to the exercises. You need to shock your body to get results. * Diet & supplements play an important role in a training regime, whatever you are training for. |
